We are just pointing out his idiocy, and you are proving to be a great example of the same. Libertarianism is a political ideology based on individual freedom economically and socially. They favor smaller government, disengagement from foreign involvement, deregulation and privatization of the commons. The ideas are not inherently evil. I can understand why people with fear and insecurity would cling to an individualistic ideal. However, as a policy, it doesn't and would never work in the real world. It is an intellectual argument at best with no real world application. Libertarianism, if implemented, would exacerbate oppression, wealth concentration, inequality and racism. It is too short sighted for where we are. Irrelevant.

For one I never heard a death threat to census workers. What happened to that one is a damned shame, most likely he stumbled onto something illegal and was killed for it, I hope it doesn't happen again.

Saying census workers are working for tyranny and resisting them is resisting encroachment to liberty are the lies that get people killed. And not many on the far right seem to know the Constitution except for part of the second amendment w/out the militia part. The Libertarians were against Bush's imperialism and many of his violations of the Constitution, particular Paul. However, don't confuse that with demonizing people to the point whereby the less stable people carry out acts of murder against fellow citizens. Also, do not bear false witness when working on any conspiratorial theories. My issues with Libertarians have to do mainly with economic matters (there are no real working models out there for Von Mises) and society's need for social justice to those who have no voice.

Funny, I pay my cable provider to access the internet. Most,if not all of the sites, I access are hosted on private servers. So the internet is really public? The roads are paid for with gas taxes ( a portion of which is stolen to pay for unprofitable "public transportation) so basically using the roads requires paying a user fee. Unless you are a parasite who rides the bus or a bike. As for public schools, I doubt anyone would hold a man liable for the actions of his parents. Just because his parents sent him to public schools is no reason to claim public schools are a good option. My food is safer because of government? This is a laugh. The government is preventing meat processors from testing for mad cow disease. I would trust a private agency such as UL to safeguard my food, not the government.

I think you and your friend are young...this site is full of individuals who are demanding our government pay attention to the will of the people..but unlike some sites...it is very diverse..we have far left..mid center..mid right and far right apparently who daily attempt discussion and or debate..the problem I see is...

If any of us are not willing to listen to all sides and that includes those in government than we close down the very really process needed for change..

Bottom line is that in all reality no one can please everyone with choices made..so there in lies the problem.....if we don't start working together and realize that "concession" is needed in a country as large as ours to ensure we all get heard than we will be unable to forge ahead with making necessary changes that could only benefit this country as a whole..

Experience is a wonderful learning tool..and with age is how experience blossoms...experience and study everything and everyone around you....if you can hear...listen...if you have eyes keep them open....and speak only when you feel as if the words you are using actually mean something and make sense...

your entire reality perhaps is not completely similar to my own and yet the core of both of our realities is exact...we are all human and as humans in the end we all need the same substance to survive this world of ours..and one day..both of our realities will end and another one replaces our space...
