This is the opening remarks, 00:00 to 07:00. Randall Terry disrupts it around the 20 minute mark. I just had to post that part first. Now I am going back and starting from the beginning.

Lots of us here at DU watched, and were impressed by Dean, Moran and the relatively civil Virginia audience.

3. How is shouting and screaming Democracy?

I try so hard not to hate these people.

5. To tell yout the truth.....they loked pathetic.

The whole act of them screaming and shouting seems tired and forced. I pitied them.

7. At the McCaskill town hall yesterday I wanted to scream "GROW UP!"

Cause they act like immature brats when they scream out like that.

8. Perhaps its because I've suffered too much this year

but I can't tolerate this obnoxiously rude people anymore. I feel we ought to be more proactive and dramatic, to get media attention on the real culprits, which are the Insurance companies.

What if groups of citizens began protests outside of Kaiser, or Blue Cross/Blue Shield? Let's ignore the fuckers in these town halls! All they want is attention and distraction. They want to pry the focus off of the truth. So let's put it back. Let's take control.

I've never organized a protest before, and have no idea on how to do it.

What say DUers, is the concept a sound one? Will anyone care? How do you get started?

If you haven't already, go to Organizing for America's website, register, and search for grassroots events in your area. Last week I went to a small, farmer's market and collected signatures to send to Reps and Sens in Congress.
