There are 40 to 50 million people who are uninsured in the US because they cannot afford insurance plans offered by the big corporations. Therefore, we already have rationing of health care. It's here and we embrace it.

It's so moral and Christian to allow 18,000 people to die each year because they have no insurance. It's so moral and Christian to force people to wait until they become so ill they have no choice but to go to the ER to survive. Since they can't pay for that ER visit those of us with insurance end up paying for them in our premiums. Make no mistake. We are taxed to pay for the health care of the poor and uninsured already. It's just not a tax collected by our government. It's a tax collected by our insurance companies - and they mark it up.

Why don't we OWN this issue yet?!? The right is setting itself up for a smackdown with this one and the Left hasn't pounced. There are SO many examples of ACTUAL death panels now. This phrase should be a rallying cry for health insurance reform NOT a talking point to be used against it.

Let's forget about it being a bullshit issue for a second. Let's forget about the fact that we have examples of current death panels for a second. At the very LEAST why won't someone in the MSM point out that if the national health insurance plan is PROPERLY FUNDED this will never be a concern.
