2. The Nuremburg trials served to throw light on what really happened

and dispel the excuses and lies with which future generations of NAZIs might have hidden and justified their crimes.

We need our Nuremburg when it comes to Guantanamo and the secret prisons, the torture and the illegal wiretapping. The crimes of the NAZIs started as small acts of vandalism and grew into random but isolated murders by seemingly lone killers and then exploded into the violence of WWII including the concentration camps.

The torturers must be prosecuted as must those who aided and abetted the political assassination of Dr. Hiller (if it can be proved that the assassin was aided and abetted).

And all of this must be done in compliance with our laws, our rules of evidence and our judicial procedures. We must prevent the rise of lawless, institutional violence in our own country.

I would suggest "The Oath" or "The Night Trilogy" to anyone. His writing truly blows me away.

we have a rather large Holocaust Museum.
Anyone that ever visits Houston should be sure to put it on the list of places to visit.
