I wrote this song during my lunchtime at the Mustang plant near Detroit. You may or may not like this song but it's real. I wrote it while watching the assembly line. Republicans and their policies destroyed our economy and they blame Detroit union autoworkers for it.

Hillbillies call us lazy & stupid, eh? Then who the hell built all those millions and millions of great cars all these years?! John Rich and his Republican Fascist, union hating cronies?! I don't need the likes of John Rich to sing about my plight up here. He's not interested in us, he's interested in selling records for himself. Right, Goober?!

I disagree with the type of cars we build. We should have been making energy efficient cars. But we have to build what is put in front of us. Besides, all you damn hillbillies talk about is your damn trucks, anyway, and you yammer on about "DRILL BABY DRILL!" Then when things got bad, which was caused by YOU, y'all say we built the wrong vehicles!

Shut up already. Nothing but a bunch of slackjawed, 6-toed, inbred, snaggle-toothed scabs. Go to hell
John Rich!

5. Nothing like a Mustang...
Owned a straight off the show room floor, Black Jade, 1969 Mustang Mach 1..351 Cleveland, with a Herst 4 in the floor....I can still remember the blasted license number...40 years ago...man, wish I had it still...and these new ones I see all around...just make me miss it more...because they look so much like it...Thanx for the song, and for the memory refresher...wb

6. Sadly, you're going to have to push your Mustang.
'Cause when the plant closes nobody will afford the high-test fuel the thing requires.

I used to love the Ed "Daddy" Roth drag car pictures when I was a kid. I grew up. Those cars may have made the American spirit, but they killed American business.
