I sure hope many people start to realize that our future is at stake here and our Earth can not take too much more of this. We are going to work ourselves into extinction. I want my kids to have more. Thanks for posting.

To some it may sound trite, but I do this all for my child. He is what drives me every day to talk to people about this, to warn them about this, and to try in any way I can with the resources I have to try to get this message across. We are on borrowed time with our planet, and unless we truly wake up and become the change we seek in others, we will be waiting ourselves into extinction. Thank you for your comment.

But Al Gore is not my spokesperson. It is within ourselves to find humanity and find a way to live peacefully and joyfully without harming our surroundings or our each other. Placing idol worship on a person is dangerous especially when caring for our world is all of our responsibility.

He is no idol to me, but he most certainly is a catalyst for change in now bringing this to the forefront to hopefully lead more people to find that humanity and morality in themselves, and for that he has my respect. I agree with you wholeheartedly that it must come from us, and have believed that ever since I was a child.

14. I tend not to put blind faith in people in power. They are mostly

bought. People like Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and Sheehan are real heros. Underdogs doing right for no notoriety or riches or fame, and yet they are beautiful people. I have pretty good sense about people. I've never beleived in him. I voted for him because Bush was worse. But I never thougth Gore was the best choice.
