9. not saying they're not
Bush lied about the intelligence to get us into Iraq but where do you think it came from? Cheney had the oil map of Iraq way before 9/11.

The Commerce Department has been forced by Judicial Watch to turn over records of spring, 2001 meetings held between Dick Cheney and execs from global oil giants, records that suggest that the group decided months before September 11th that the US energy policy would center on taking control of Iraq's oil:

6. Like Hightower said, "Bush didn't have the mental capacity for heavy lifting."
Personally I've always thought Bush was a moronic sociopath and Cheney was a smart psychopath.

Cenk is right though, it wouldn't have been as disastrous without Cheney. K&R

8. I still insist: Cheney, NOT MAD at Bush, happy about no pardon.
As a commutation, Irv Libby does not have to testify, rather than testify he can plea the 5th and stay silent, losing his law license but keeping his money tree alive and well.

If pardoned, he could not plea the 5th. He'd have to talk.

11. I do have to say, I was surprised that Bush didn't pardon any lackeys....
Considering how terrible and in some cases illegal his entire Administration was, it struck me as bizarre that he did have some "principle" in not pardoning anyone of importance.

12. Very telling. He knows there are actions they need pardons for.
It is going to be very interesting to see where the investigations by Conyers and others will end up. Cheney has got to be terrified.
