1. Blitzer
"History is unique." Is this the kind of comment that gets him the big bucks? Really?

All of the read emails were excellent.

15. I know, lol
I think its one of those spots where he didn't know what to say so he just filled it with something goofy. Sometimes I think Jack is so blunt that he throws Wolf off.

2. Everyone agrees that Cheney is "evil".
Yet nobody is doing anything to hold him accountable for any of his crimes. And Madoff is on house arrest in a $7M mansion! Ah, Republicans.

7. Right you are....
Why does it have to be one or the other?
They're both partners in colossal crimes.
They've tortured in "our name" and I , for one, will never forgive them.

9. I've heard better questions from Jack Cafferty
Since so much of what went on during the last eight years was shrouded in an opaque decision making process, we really ought to expect our views of the Bush Regime to change over time. This is no to say, as Cheney does, that Bush will be viewed like Lincoln in 30 years or that the overall judgment of the regime will be much different than it is now: corrupt, petty, perfidious, tyrannical, incompetent and even cruel. There is nothing positive to say.

However, much of the judgment of who had what influence in the decisions that were made will depend on what is written on pieces of paper yet to be unearthed and e-mails yet to be recovered.

One thing that can be said is that whether Bush is seen in the end as an evil genius or a gullible fool, he cannot escape the lion's share of the responsibility for the disaster that is his legacy. None of this would have been possible without his signature somewhere.

10. It all depends who dies first.
The dead one always gets most of the blame and they are both good at blaming others for their decisions.

12. prezbush/govbush=same
in the state of texas, the lt. Governor has all the power. however if something does not go right, guess who gets the blame? yup, the gov! bush is so stupid, he could not see he was being set up as prez. cheney made the decisions or at least the important ones and bush was to look like he made the decisions. when things went wrong bush got the blame. bush will have all the blame as it goes down in history just like a noose around his neck. his problem is stupidity, arrogance and incuriousness. all of this was written about him before he was appointed. so anyone who voted for him do not mention you did around me because you will get a huge piece of mind about your stupidity, arrogance and incuriousness and then i will not speak to you again.
