UPDATE; This person has been caught, and the police are talking with her. We are hoping that after Nov. 4 all of this bad behavior will be over. All the signs will be gone and we can all get back to the task of keeping this country moving forward.

This is a quick movie I made from our motion camera. We have had many Obama/Biden signs stolen or destroyed in our neighborhood and have finally caught one of the perpetrators. This is an awful display by a fellow citizen whose vote I may not understand, but must respect.

Please do not let emotion make your decision. There are government websites which show how each candidate has voted since they were elected. Please take the time to learn about your choice by their voting record, not by their rhetoric.

and all the thieves appear to be republican, and all the signs being stolen appear to be obama. if i keep looking maybe i'll find the shoe on the other foot, since whenever republicans get hit up about shit like this, they always say there are hooligans and vandals on both sides of the aisle...plenty of blame to go around...not the time to point fingers...yada yada bullshit...

21. I corresponded on YouTube with another person who posted a video of this same woman stealing a sign.

She tells me that the crime has been solved. The woman is mentally unstable and has apologized. Because of these factors, the victims and the detective in charge of the case have dropped all charges.

25. I'm going to trust the judgement of the people who were there and met the woman.

I'll especially trust the judgment of the police detective who I'm sure has encountered many people falsely claiming mental instability. Forgiving the woman is a very progressive thing to do.

Scandblue was the other person who posted a video of this same woman stealing a sign. Here is her response.

Thank you all who commented with positive thoughts. We are aware of the other video showing the same thief. The crime has been solved as after seeing the video on the news, a neighbor of the theif notified us. Both we and our neighbor who posted the other video had filed police reports. The woman returned the sign, apologized profusely. The detective inteviewed her and my sister and I, the detective, and our neighbor, agreed not to prosecute her because of her apologies and mental state.
