1. According to reports, the money came from the RNC and not from the McPalin
campaign directly and might not be in direct violation of McCain-Feingold. This is presently being discussed here

So far, it's possible that although CariBOO might not have violated the letter of the law, the spirit of the law seems to have been trashed.

There is also in the second thread posted an interesting observation...CariBOO might have to declare the clothes as income!!!!

Yep. I'd argue that point for a day or two just so it puts the McCain campaign in even deeper quicksand... and it certainly could be argued that it is either true or shows how any loopholes there are in the McCain-Feingold legislation...

3. Palin helps McCain betray everything he once stood for
He has over and over violated his values and surrendered his legacy. It appears he just wants the title of president not the actual role and he will do or say anything to get that title. This is not a Country First attitude. He needs to retire from politics.
