another wonderful sunofalightbulb ramble video. but really, gas has gone down with the market. gas will go up with the market (and did today.) maybe we can deal with being at around 9000 for a little while? i like paying 2.89 a gallon instead of 4 bucks.

1. One person said oil is a waste product left over from the oil that makes products, using less cuts>
the price apparently as they have to move the remainder waste left over. The loan crisis helps to as they can't borrow money to speculate on oil price too. Yeah low oil probably re-energizes and economy is my guess.

2. I want oil to be high because that encourages us to get off oil
If we get off the oil train sooner rather than later, we will be better off politically, economically, and environmentally.

Also, I think the correlation between the falling Dow Jones and the price for light sweet crude is over-stated. The Dow more than tripled in the '90s, and crude didn't see anywhere near that kind of an increase. If there is a correlation, it is a very recent phenomenon. For that matter, the Dow peaked in Oct. 2007, while oil peaked this summer (June 2008, IIRC). The declines don't really overlap.

3. i agree with the 90's example
but in today's terms, it seems to be a bit of a closer co-relation. these are different times, to use an old saying.
