We have too many under-educated or uneducated people in this country. Hearing someone speaking with big words intimidates them. They see idiots like Bush and feel like they can relate to him, have a beer with him, if you will. "This person can't pronounce those countries, either," they're thinking. "He can't put three words together in a sentence. Therefore, I'm comfortable having him as my president."

The same general psychology is applying to Palin, although I thought she sounded much better in the debate than she did in the Gibson and Couric interviews. She tended, however, to resort to her rhetorical phrases and didn't give many specifics. And her constant winking to the camera was a turnoff. But I'm sure there were a bunch of those inbred, toothless knuckledraggers watching the debate from their black & white set with rabbit ear antennae in hillbilly heaven, USA thinking she's winking at them specifically.

Because I am afraid that no matter how obvious the choice is, Obama could lose anyway. The reason is that whoever wins, it won't be about the issues, because the issues and the facts absolutely do not matter.
I've talked to my inlaws recently. One loves Palin because she is a hockey mom. Another hates Palin because she seems like a bitch.
Then there is another person I know who doesn't like Obama because he is a Muslim.
