Bill Clinton speaks of Hillary's seemingly not wanting the VP job.

"I genuinely admire both of them" when speaking of McCain and Obama.

He throws complements McCain, and describes why some Hillary voters may vote for McCain.

Hmmm... Bill, what if we are not "finding something wrong" with anyone, but the opponent just happens to be a corporate-toady oligarch and a power-hungry madman that is dead set on starting World War 3? Are we just supposed to "play nice"? How much digging does one have to do to "find" something wrong with that? This is such a naive attitude from a guy I used to think was so wise. We do not find something wrong with people because we "can't vote for them" - we can't vote for them because we find something fundamentally wrong with their positions.


Seriously. A great big WTF from me. I could totally see a voter that is on the fence but admires Bill and remembers the 90s fondly being pushed over to McCain by this interview.

Bill, please go away for a bit so that I can remember how much I used to admire you - and why.
