2. Why let the "untruths" about Obama stand? Simply hinting there may need to
be some "fact checking" is NOT journalism or Truthiness.

3. Set up for a sequel?
I was left with the feeling that Failin's assertions about Obama's record will be addressed in a similar segment, maybe today?

6. Oh I hope so!!! A hint of the return of journalism, how refreshing. Perhaps they sense a change
coming in November as well.

8. It IS "truthiness." "Truthiness" is NOT the same as truth--
it is a fake version of reality that has been given a thin veneer of plausibility--not the truth.
Simply hinting there may need to be some "fact checking" is NOT journalism or Truthiness.
Certainly it is not journalism, but it is precisely the sort of thing meant by "truthiness."

4. Anyone else feel...
good about that one? I thought it was actually good reporting by CNN. AND...I bet the right wing claims its "left-wing, liberal media bias"? How do they keep getting away with that? I live in TN, and 99% of the people here think that the media has a left-wing, liberal bias. How can you get them to see the truth?

9. Yeah those darn facts are always confused with liberal media bias.

But hopefully this will be seen by the fence sitters that haven't made a decision yet.

10. Here's the thing-
90% of right wingers fail to recognize themselves as right wing.

It's human nature to see yourself as "normal". Some of the biggest right-wingers I've ever known claim to be "politically independent". Meanwhile they spend all their time brainwashing themselves with their Am radio pundits and are so completely incapable of seeing thing objectively that their perspective is completely skewed. Because of all this they are able to see themselves as "middle of the road". By that definition, they are correct that the media has a liberal bias: In a nutshell, any point of view that is less right wing than theirs is liberal.

11. Yeah, I see that is the main problem..
Years of right-wing media have moved the "center", to the right.

points out that *Palin lies.*
