NC US Senator Elizabeth Dole is ducking out on taking any responsibility for her state's Republican party's malicious effort in running a racist attack ad against Barack Obama.

Today, Pam Spaulding of Pam's House Blend, in coordination with Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake and BlueNC bloggers, delivered a petition to Senator Dole's office asking her to put a stop to this ad.

She was much nicer to Senator Dole's assistant, than I would have been. lol!

You may have heard a voice in the video say, "maam, cut off the camera!" We were not allowed to take any cameras into the building. Hmmm... Seems odd to me that a constituent is not allowed to take a camera into their own Senator's office.

I dig her. The best thing about this long primary season is that in each state, there have been dedicated, lefty bloggers covering every step made by the candidates, the press and the hangers-on.
