Canadian Band Moxy Fruvous recorded this song around the time of Gulf War 1. I was converting some of my old CD's into MP3's last night and listened to it for the first time in years. It struck me how relevant it still is.

Someone posted a video montage on Youtube that's pretty good, but it's the song I'm hoping you'll give a listen to.

Cheers.

Sid

1. A good song you folks will never hear.
Not just because it's not "corporate media." This song happens to be "comedy," "novelty," "Dementia," genres that people don't appreciate. (See the song "Nobody Loves the Comedy Band" by Raymond and Scum.)

Also, because singers aren't supposed to have a sense of humor. You either have to do angry metal screeds or sobbing, suicidal folk ballads if you're writing a political song. Right?
