By Jesse Russell

The living standards in the United Kingdom are about to rise above those in the United States for the first time since the 19th century. A new report finds that the average income in Britain will hit $46,300 this year compared to the United States where it is projected to be $45,800. While Americans enjoy lower taxes, lower prices on goods, and lower fuel costs. Britons, however, have longer state mandated paid holidays and access to so-called “free” healthcare.
