UAW, coalition push jobs, workplace rules

United Auto Workers President Bob King and civil rights leader the Rev. Jesse Jackson intend to launch a new campaign calling for more American jobs and beefing up federal enforcement of the workplace and industry.

The campaign will be announced Monday at the UAW's Solidarity House in Detroit, according to a press statement released by the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
