is there a punishment severe enough
given his limited time remainingon the planet and his frail health

that would actually balance the scales of Justice for Dick Cheney?

1. Restitution, not punishment
Edited on Fri Apr-21-06 07:31 PM by dotcosm
I couldn't care less if he suffers.

To absolve himself, he would have to divest himself of all of his excess wealth (I'll let him keep one normal sized/priced house).

Not sure where the money should go, but just not to him or his kind.

edit: yes, I do know where his money should go. Donated to NIH or education fund, or social security fund -- all those places they raided

8. restitution goes without saying
he needs to fork over his own corrupt swag as do all others who benefited form his crimes

but I want to see him suffer, 24X7 on TV if at all possible.

3. Reincarnation as a gay POW in Nazi Germany

The same one, 50 times, might batter some sort of insight into his fractured, tiny soul.

5. he's arrogant-- complete and utter disgrace would break him....
Disgrace so thorough that people spit on him and throw rotten vegetables whenever his jailors move him in public. Disgrace so thorough that the U.N. soldiers guarding his cell mock him, and his family wants only to erase his name from their memories.

6. It won't happen but...
RICO Halliburton (and subsidiaries) out of existence, and arrange adjoining cells for Cheney, Delay, et al.

Then start a reality show on their existence in prison...better yet, webcast their entire days. 24/7. Let everyone, including their former friends, see their fall.

9. If they can keep a brain dead woman on life-support for 15 years ...
Edited on Sat Apr-22-06 04:01 PM by TahitiNut
... I figure a heartless bastard like Cheney can be kept on machines for 20 years - or as long as his (confiscated) assets hold out.

I oppose the death penalty - but the "life penalty" might be worth considering.
