I met Sen. Kennedy today
Coming out after taping his interview for the Daily Show tonight. Very nice guy...actually kept telling SECURITY to stop pushing people so that he could sign.

15. Just in case you'd like to know...
I also met Giuliani and he was a total asshole. Wouldn't sign anything except his book. Just kept walking.

16. SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!
For a prick who first married his cousin, then moved his girlfriend in with his second wife and kids, with a combover that needed to be murdered, he is nothing but a smarmy little opportunist rightwingnut fuck whose greatest good luck was 9/11.

He deserves summary execution, too. So does any Italian-American who is a Republican.

I'm an Italian-American, by the way.

5. I just watched an hour of him on Larry King; he looks good, he's
kind, he's smart and has nothing to prove. He could retire easily, but I'm so glad he hasn't!

He's such a knowledgable man - facts at his finger tips, and the ability to extrapolate their import.

Some time before:

12. He does look good! He seems to be shorter than I thought he was.
In NYC's pictures, he looks to be around 5'8'-ish.

11. Now there's a mind I'd like to ...
snoop around in. I live in Mass., and so many times when there's a bill being voted on, and I take part in some email campaign...I always change the form letter, to reflect how fortunate I am, to be the constituent of a man who always votes on the side of the angels.

19. What a refreshing contrast to Chimp
who always has to be shielded by thousands of guards and Secret Service agents, because he is so universally loathed by millions world wide. What a truly pathetic thing the Shrub is, to have garnered so much hatred.

One point I would like to make is this...at the height of the Lewinsky investigation, nobody could claim that they were personally hurt by Clinton's affairs. With Bush, millions are damaged by his flawed leadership. That is what I always tell the Kool-aid drinker who try to compare the two. I'll take an effective leader with personal flaws, between him and his wife and Monica, over a so-called leader like Bush, who is placing the world on the brink of nuclear war.

21. Without question, the greatest Senator of the last Century
For the common man. Ted has been a champion of the poor, the disadvantaged and the working guy since the day he was first elected. If all Democrats had a record like Ted's we'd be in high cotton indeed.

27. I had the great good fortune to meet him years ago in Houston, as he
was one of the speakers at the International Women's Year conference held there. articulate, bright, thoughtful, and "pressing the flesh", as we said in those pre-fear-matrix days. no security, just him, wending his way through the crowds.
