I just don't like the Young Republicans. At least the Hitler Youth
were expected to DO something for their country.....the boys were prepped for mandatory military service; the girls were trained to be housewives and have kids.

I am a returning student (age 42) and this little band of snotwits defies anything I have ever seen. I had to go on to another town on Sunday, and offered to drive a 22 year old who doesn't have a decent car---he told me that the Young Repukes didn't bother him because his folks told him that they were like the Reagan kids of the eighties.

No. No they were not. I hung out with rich Reagan kids in the eighties when I was a kid. I do NOT remember them wanting to kill anyone, or taking a particularly strong stand on issues like abortion. (some did, but then we got drunk and went to the beach and forgot about it) I do NOT remember them thinking they were so important that they had to be able to take a call at anytime--and I do not remember them driving anything other than Toyotas and Hondas. The really rich ones had Toyotas and Hondas that were only a couple of years old; most of us drove 10 year old ones. I also don't remember in college, or just out of college kids talking about the freaking stock market. We were way too busy contemplating the price of beer, and getting groups together to go to the beach (lots of people in hotel rooms meant we could all go)...

And I also do not remember anyone putting anyone down for their party affiliation.

1. I subscribe to the saying that a young repub is a person without a soul
I can find proof that an old democrat is not necessarily a person without any money, but it has been impossible up until now to find any evidence that disproves the former.

2. It's really depressing to see college Repugs...
That's the life phase where your mind should be opening, expanding ... and they're these little Bushbot drones. And it's their future that's been so f..ked up by BushCo - they ought to be kicking, screaming leftists.
