Reading the transcript of Twig's comments was disturbing enough but, in video, the full cretinism of the man is plain for all to see. That Hee-Haw, shoulder-bobbing idiot-boy laugh; the fact that he is clearly out of the loop in decisionmaking; the unashamedness with which he admits to having no idea about the legal-basis for a significant part of US operations in Iraq; all of it is breathtaking.

This man isn't President. He's a figurehead, a poseur, at best a poison-chalice messenger. A cardboard cutout would be equally able to do his job.
