1. It's an amazing song ...
Check Rosie O'Donnel's blog as well, she did some great picture/movies to go with it, very moving.

Hmmm I wonder if we could start a movement a la Helen Thomas' roses to send a copy of the CD to Laura Bush?

11. I wonder what the Bush twins think of this song? Are they proud?

And no, he would never take a walk with Pink (or any of us), would he?

4. Cool song. Pink must be a DUer...
I also like this one by Jamiroquai, best know for neo-disco. It's called "World That He Wants" (There's little doubt as to who "he" is in this song):

Why does this man defy the storm and burn us all
Each time his hand waves
The sun, it sets on lonely graves

Haven't we read this page before
They gonna lose the war
Put down the glory flag
Nothing will be the same

This is the world he wants
Pray for the brave and the young
It won't bring them back again

Stillness, you know that it brings
supreme and suffocates our only dream
No birds sing here, they're flown away
They didn't even say when they'd be back again
Will they come back again?

Armys are out of hell
With all the stormy wind
Heaven inside his storm

This is the world he wants
Pray for the brave and the young
He knows they're not coming home
Now do you ever, ever get the feeling
Ever get the feeling this is the world that he wants

You ever get the feeling, ever get the feeling
This is the world that he wants
This is the world he wants
This is the world he wants

6. Pink on dateline tonight (sunday)
Just read on her site. A number of TV appearances this week:

Apr 9 Dateline with Matt Lauer
Apr 10 Oprah
Apr 11 Regis and Kathy Lee
Apr 11 Conan
Apr 14 Ellen de Generes

I know, terrible shows (actually I don't even know a couple of them) but maybe she will talk about this song.

7. Of course I'm going to support someone
who admits to crying for four days when Jon Bon Jovi got married. He sent her a pair of his pants and a note saying that she can now say she'd been in them! Her Gwen Stefani knockoff look clashes with the spirit of the song, though.
