After all, the cops are always right, right?

3. Which incident?
But I would have to say no, I don't think any of her arrests have been justified.

11. If you're talking about "the one where she broke the law", then yes.
Breaking laws, even stupid ones, requires some action (arrested, cited...something).

We don't get to pick the laws we want to obey. If we don't agree with them, we have the right to try to change them. We don't have to right to simply disregard them.

6. Come on guys
Cynthia McKinney hasn't been arrested and Cindy Sheehand was not arrested for allegedly hitting a police officer.

Yes. Police brutality is bad.
Yes. Hitting officers is bad.

BUT we don't have all the information right now. We don't even know if McKinney will be charged with anything. It's all speculation at this point and this trumped up drama benefits no one but the right who, quite frankly, needs this distraction.

Now Drudge has this gem on his site:

Security video shows McKinney entering the building and moving around the metal detector and X-ray machine. It DOES NOT show her encounter with the police officer, according to Tuesday's ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION...

.....

Now there might not even be a video? This is nothing more than a distraction. I doubt it will go anywhere so why are we falling for it?

7. Cops like arresting protestors for some reason. Didn't think it was
right in the 60's and my opinion hasn't changed.

8. She Didn't Allegedly Hit Anyone
and they later "apologized"

you are comparing apples and oranges

McKinney hasn't been arrested yet.

The evidence has been turned over to the Federal Prosecutor and he/she will decide what happens to McKinney next.
