Supreme Court doings to be televised.
Said so on Dan Abrams show this afternoon. The Supremes aren't thrilled but they are not being any choice in the matter.

2. For Real?
Starting when and for how many cases, all of them? Shit, I'd watch that. It's about damn time we get to see that dynamic.

3. How was that managed? I thought anything that bushco corrupt cronies want
they get. It is good news and am looking forward to Scalito alienating the American people in real time. Maybe another impeachments??

4. Let us see Scalia hand movements
Of course, Scalia and Cheney are good buds. Cheney calls a reporter an asshole and tells Leahy to go get fucked, and Scalia uses a "Sicilian" gesture with the same meaning.

Just got to love these GOP. I can hardly wait to see them on TV.

6. The criticism of this is
that the t.v. networks will ignore the everyday goings on and only emphasize the sexy, controversial cases which will put the Court under much more public scrutiny. The Supreme Court is supposed to be unaccountable; I actually agree with Scalia on this one that it is a bad idea- you can read descriptions and transcripts of oral arguments online as well as opinions. Go Cards BTW!

7. took 'em long enough. you can never trust those paintings...
I always wondered why there never were cameras in the court.

well, now we can FINALLY reimburse England on C-Span...they've been showing us the House of Commons for all these years, so they'll get to see what WE do...
