Fuddy Duddy Lieberman: "I'm not going to let them get away with it."
Lieberman: "I'm not going to let them get away with it."

David Welna of NPR did a piece on Joe the other day. You can see that he's feeling the heat from Ned Lamont's-"Nedrenaline"

Welna: "...some label him Senator Fuddy Duddy-others call him President Bush's favorite Democrat. On the other hand Con. House Republican Christopher Shays, says he intends to vote for Leiberman who's more popular among State Republicans than Democrats---Lieberman's broad smile vanishes when he's told other Democrats are calling him Republican Light..

Lieberman: This is one of the big lies that the people against me are spreading and I'm not going to let them get away with it.

6. He must do, as Lieberman is getting increasingly worse
since Ned jumped in the race.

There are rumours floating about that if Ned stands a serious shot, Holy Joe may drop out of the Democratic race before the primary and run as an Independent

9. Fred Barnes Interview on NPR Said Lieberman Ought to be in Bush Cabinet
Fox commentator Fred Barnes was being interviewed by Terry Gross on Fresh Air (NPR) and said that he'd like to see a new cabinet with Condi as Vice President, (wants Cheney to step down from position)and to see Lieberman take a high post.

I'm sorry i'm forgetting if Barnes was suggesting he take Condi's position as Secretary of State or Rummy's Secretary of Defense position.

It was one of the two.. But he wants Condi to be the VP so that she can be in good position to become the next Presidential nominee..

I was thinking she can be a nominee, she doesn't have to be the Vice President now, unless Barnes was worried about something happening to Bush, and doesn't want Cheney to take Bush's position. That isn't a quote, just how i interpretted Barne's meaning..

In any event, i think the interview was on tuesday night, and if people want to go hear for themselves - just google fresh air, and program archives - Barnes was interviewed in the second segment of the program.
