CA Action *** Ask CA Senate to Independently Investigate E-Voting Vendors
(For some reason, at least now, the webpage is titled: "No permanent military bases in Iraq", but that isn't what the page addresses)

Action Form from NoCrony.com

There is a form at the link to fill out and send to CA Senate Rules Committee, CA SoS (McPherson), and if you choose, a local paper.

http://www.nocrony.com/voting_subpoenas.php

ASK THE CA SENATE RULES COMMITTEE TO INDEPENDENTLY INVESTIGATE THE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINE VENDORS

On February 16th, 2006, the California Senate Rules Committee held a hearing to determine why the Secretary of State was certifying flawed and insecure electronic voting systems, but the key witnesses they wanted to hear from didn't bother to show up.

Since then there has been an alarming increase in reports of grossly out of line vote tallies in state after state using these machines with no accountability. In New Hampshire they could not even count 369 votes without a discrepancy of more than 10%.

There has already been one citizens' lawsuit filed to require that Secretary of State Bruce McPherson reverse his reckless decision to re-certify the Diebold system for use in California. But it is still the responsibility of the California legislature to fulfill their DUTY of oversight and do a credible INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION of this scandal, including issuing subpoenas for the testimony of Diebold, ES&S, Sequoia, Hart Intercivic, Ciber Labs, Wyle Labs, and other truant voting system examiners and insiders who played hooky the first time. Please submit this action page to demand that these individuals be required to appear under oath, and that these vendors be held accountable to we the people for the sanctity of our votes.

Enough of this shit already! :grr:
