5. Yes...yes...yes...
It's all the medias fault. Nobody would be dieing if there wasn't a media. There wouldn't be any infrastructure damage if there wasn't a media. The Sunni's, Shiites and Kurds would all be clasping hands and singing songs of unity and friendship if there wasn't a media.

13. I hate stupid poll questions. OF COURSE, the media is responsible....
If we lived in a totalitarian state without a relatively free media, the Bush administration's lies would be accepted with little to challenge them. Most people, not just the wingnuts, would believe that the war had rescued the US from imminent nuclear attack, that Iraq is blossoming into a free democracy, troubled only by minor dead-enders, that the Kurds, Sunni, and Shia are getting along like long lost brothers, that nations around the world are thankful for the US's bold and honest leadership in this matter, and that the cost of the war to the US taxpayer was modest.

So yes, it's only because of the media that Bush propaganda doesn't rule the day. And that's a good thing.

I give the media full credit for that.

cover losses prominently and accurately? Good grief, if the media were doing it's job we'd have had 95% public opposition 3 years ago.
