The rise and rise of the un-West, Rice maintains Iran the challenge...
'US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said recently that Iran was the chief current challenge to Washington. Tehran, and especially President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, ought to feel flattered, as well as alarmed.

A Middle Eastern society, of mostly very poor people, whose only national asset is its oil reserves, has now been defined as a challenge by the richest, most powerful society in history: a society whose expenditure on its armed forces surpasses that of the 10 next most powerful countries combined.'

1. The only 'challenge' ahead
Is trying to sell the American public on phase three of Operation: Mahometan Massacre.

They're pounding their drums about Ahmedinejad threatening to nuke Israel - when he has done no such thing, when he has no control over hte Iranian military, and when the guys who do have that power have unanimously spoken out against proliferation. They grind their axes to the tune of the NPT, after rewarding a non-signee for nuclear development and polishing the ass of another for years, while themselves persuing "strategic" nuclear weapons, while Iran is simply trying to power up some reactors so they have more oil to sell. Going on and on about the human rights abuses in Iran, while disparaging and ignoring worse offenses in Iraq and Afghanistan under their watch.

With any luck, Americans won't be so blind the third time around.
