France changes labor laws and folks riot big time. Bush turns the US...
...into a dictatorship, and people wander around like nothing happened.

What's up with that?

3. They have something "free" left? They've got one up on us...
The US under Bush has something in common with the USSR under Stalin.

6. Amen to that, FR....
So sad but so true. Unendurable cruel when you can see it. Oblivious ones aren't pained so, those masses that say "what's the big deal over rights?"

7. Watching it today on MSNBC. Couldn't get over the words the host was
using regarding the protestors. She was calling them THUG, TROUBLE MAKERS ,,,

The msm hates anyone who disagrees with authority. I guess we might be ablie to take a little solice in that. It may not be personal against people who protest the war here. Here the msm just ignores them, but when they do it in Paris, they cover it like hell.

MSM=CHIMP PROTECTORS, perception managment, PR, corporate hoes

10. France is special
More internationalist/nationalist revolutionary backbone than any country, including the US (or for that matter; Norway).

This was how the 68-movement started; at Sorbonne and other French universities, then it spilled over to the rest of Europe - and the US. That time there also was a unjust war going on.

Many parallels to today's situation.

13. Well, to be fair
This also counts for Norway and many European countries. France is special in so many ways, and you can always trust them to take a very critical stance towards change imposed by the govt.

But the US media has done a lot to pacify itself, and also the population, I agree to that.

Look at this thread, some data and pics from the riots:
