A somewhat funny legal argument

You pay taxes.

Your taxes fund the operations of the federal government.

The federal government includes the operations of the National Security Agency (NSA).

The NSA spies on you.

Question: Would you not have a right not to have to fund to your own illigal snooping, by refusing to pay federal taxes? (Assuming the snooping is held to be illegal)

I thought it was kind of a funny (not "ha ha" funny) question.

1. If they weren't snooping on you before, they will after you declare

yourself a tax protestor. Chances are, they'll send you a very unamusing form letter, but otherwise leave you alone.
