14. I would be thrilled to see him trounced.
Many want to see him win the primary to he can get his ass kicked hard in November and have to spend more money doing so. I would be just as content to see him lose today.

4. Ohhhh For A Run-Off!!!!!
I want this weaseldick to end up with 49.8% of the vote...and force him to spend more of that slush-fund cash of his on fighting Repugnicans for a few more weeks. Then let's keep him around as a corruption poster boy so Nick Lampson can kick his ass out of the House completely...before Ronnie Earle convicts early next year.

17. Me too. I would love to see a Dem take him out later.
If he loses in the primary, the Republicans will be all over it about how they cleaned house and are leading the fight against corruption.

I want to see a Dem take him but if a Republican does win in the general election I hope it is Delay, stripped of his power and a liability and encumbrance on the GOP nationally in 2008.

76. Just a slice of things to come...
If there is still E-Voting, then the GOP is secure.

77. Yes, that's the sad truth.
In fact, voter irregularity is not uncommon, it's just getting harder to prove without paper ballots.

84. People in general seem unphased
They just go about their political lives as though everything were normal...nothing changed.
How deep the denial goes...

93. Who needs gerrymandering when you have Diebold or
whatever machine company has been hired to mis-count the votes.

Why should anybody trust any election result in the US?

You can only trust the result when you have a transparent vote-counting procedure, in other words, when you have a democracy.
