2. Things can change on a dime. This morning, I noticed they were
down...saw 1.91, 1.92. And I wondered, what gives?

Where are you?

7. A little cheaper than it's been here lately, has been $2.00 or
a little over.

THis is in SC. I don't know what our gas tax is, but my guess is it's lower than yours.

3. Gasoline will never go below $2.50 gal. again
and oil will remain above $50 a bbl. no matter what this fucked up administration tells you. We didn't protest loud enough, now we're used to paying obscene prices.

They fucked us with our eyes open and our mouth's shut.

4. Depends on geography.
Right now, at one particular *CITGO* station I frequent,
premium is $2.29 while mid-grade is $2.39 and regular
is $2.14 or so.

(Go figure. But I suspect it might have something to do
with that incident a few months ago when the big sign
said premium $2.39 and the pump charged $2.49.)

I don't expect it to last, though.

10. I don't expect relatively low prices to last either.
Some months ago, I got in the habit of filling up before the price goes higher. that was when the prices spiked.

12. There is always a rise in Spring. Forecast is for $3.00/gallon
Investment analysts seem to be predicting over $3.00 per gallon this spring. They talk about it like its no big deal, and actually a good thing.
