To all Freeps who believed Bush really cared about "protecting us":
WE TOLD YOU SO. It's ALL about big, big, big corporate Republican bucks. All of it. End of story. You poor, deluded Rush-worshipping ignorant Freeps! How betrayed you must feel! Now you finally see the Chimp Emperor is naked. What a sad, sad week this was for you, to have the scales finally fall from your eyes ...

7. And the Country Has Had to Suffer...
...while you Republicans have been ignorant. And you kept saying that *we* were the problem! Now can you see that those "damned liberals" might have been right about something for once? Now please stop hating us & join us in stopping the neocon scourge, okay? This country needs to be saved from those horrible people.

8. They're lining up for eye scale reattachment surgery.
You don't really think mere reality is gonna actually dent those indestructible illusions of theirs, do you? After all the things those illusions have withstood so far, I don't think the UAE story is gonna do it either.

The enemy of my enemy is now my friend. I extend a warm welcome to the starved masses from Freerepublic, here is your information trough from which to feed. Should it upset or disagree with the gut, pay no mind to the gut. Rather absorb and reflect on the nourishment you have received. Was it beneficial? Do you feel enlightened? Then surely the sustenance of DU is more effective than the anorexically empty opinions coming from your camp.

Once again, welcome to those who have the bravery to ingest new ideas. I implore you to activate discussion and debate within the site, rest assured your dissent will not be treated in the same manner as our President and many from the right wish to treat loyal dissent.

the chimperor has no clothes!

Please remember, when you vote the democrats back in, it will take a loooong time and a lot of work to fix the damage the spoiled little rich boy draft dodger has done to America.
Compassionate Conservatism was a HUGE SCAM to get your money!!!....and it worked!

In recent polls by the Pew Research Group, the Opinion Research Corporation, the Wall Street Journal, and CBS News, the American majority has made clear how it feels. Look at how the majority feels about some of the issues and join the crowd of Americans who are going to put AMERICA back on the right track!

1. 65 percent say the government should guarantee health insurance for everyone -- even if it means raising taxes.

2. 86 percent favor raising the minimum wage (including 79 percent of selfdescribed "social conservatives").

3. 60 percent favor repealing either all of Bush's tax cuts or at least those cuts that went to the rich.

4. 66 percent would reduce the deficit not by cutting domestic spending but by reducing Pentagon spending or raising taxes.

5. 77 percent believe the country should do "whatever it takes" to protect the environment.

6. 87 percent think big oil corporations are gouging consumers, and 80 percent (including 76 percent of Republicans) would support a windfall profits tax on the oil giants if the revenues went for more research on alternative fuels.

7. 69 percent agree that corporate offshoring of jobs is bad for the U.S. economy (78 percent of "disaffected" voters think this), and only 22% believe offshoring is good because "it keeps costs down."

18. Yeah, I never got the people who think Bush will protect them.
After the biggest attack on US soil happened right under his nose... and he responded by going off and bombing the shit out of a country that had nothing to do with it, and just making even MORE people hate us who had no reason to before... y'know, little clues like that.
