Bush will focus on "domestic" issues in SOTU...
He will not mention the 27 troops killed yesterday in Iraq. He will talk about healthcare reform, where some people will be paying more. He will talk about the "sanctity of life". He will talk about "energy independence". And he will say that "social programs" are breaking our nation and that he intends to put forth a "balanced budget" for 2012 - 4 years after he leaves office. He will brag about the jobs created and the stock market strength and credit it all to his taxcuts. And he will advise that the taxcuts be made "permanent" to keep the economy growing...

1. It's the old D & D tactic...
Divert and Distract. "Look there! Something shiny!"
Effective 99% of the time.

3. In other words, he'll talk the way he did before he was appointed
Remember, he sounded like a moderate who gave a shit about the country.

I'm wondering how much of it the saps in TV land are going to buy. After all, the little bastard has had 6 years to do this stuff, and the numbers of uninsured (for example) are so bad they haven't been reported in several years.

All these fools have ever come up with are tax cuts for the rich and meaningless tax credits for people at the bottom. Who's going to afford insurance when it's a 10% tax credit on a $4000 tax bill? Remember, that's supposed to get the holy corporation off the hook so they can stop offering health care to employees.

These people are idiots and their ideas have been discredited. Most people don't give a shit about the stock market because most people don't have a part in it.

The reaction on the street on Wednesday should be pretty funny.

5. So Iraq will be out of mind. Good strategy.
The talking heads on corporate broadcasts get to not talk about extremely vital things concerning our country and it's future concerning democracy. They will continue to run rings around us unless we force media focus on the life and death and liberty issues that must be openly discussed.

8. I hope he says something so out of his delusional head that
the Congress sits on their hind legs and realize what a madman he is.
