He might not do it, but IF * attacks Iran,
he will be impeached, about as fast as you can say "jr. made Saddam a martyr". Irregardless of Pelosi and Reid stating impeachment is off the table, we're tottering on the edge of that very real possibility right now. Repubs are peeling off the bush Titanic in droves, and except for our favorite traitor Lieberman, Dems are united against the Iraqi war and any further Mideast aggressive actions.

Biden laid down the gauntlet to CondiLIAR, declaring that * does NOT have the authority to attack Iran and/or Syria, and he didn't want to see any movement from the administration in that direction. Biden looked like he meant business. While they clearly weren't happy with it, I think the bushistas got the message. Hopefully, this will be yet one more factor keeping their collective itchy trigger finger immobile.

But if King George really is mad, we need to roll.

2. Fighters buzzing my house here in central NM
every few minutes, air base about a mile and a half south.

Something's going on.

His handlers need to pull that choke chain FAST. This mad dog is getting dangerous.

4. But I'm starting to believe that his handlers are just as crazy.
CondiLIAR looked like she was coming unglued during the Senate hearings. The veneer on some of the others is less harsh, but their rhetoric and behavior is definitely wacko.
:scared:

6. Oh, he's mad all right.....
....but his neocon handlers are smart even if they too are mad. Think of the Gulf of Tonkin. That's when a US destroyer was supposedly attacked at night by torpedo boats from North Vietnam. Didn't happen but allowed Johnson to attack the North Vietnamese with air strikes. This time the torpedo attacks will be real.....only they will come from Israeli submarines.....and be blamed on Iran. Full scale war across the ME will follow. And then WW3? Perhaps. Bob

7. And of course, the draft.
The cons will finally have the perfect excuse. Question is, will Dems stand tall and defy the fascists?

10. Something tells me there won't be any funds for an Iranian adventure.
But the national outrage will be so huge, Congress will have to go farther and constitutionally remove these incompetent lunatics. At least that's mho.

9. Oh yeah.
Thank God the Dems are in power. You're right, a sneak attack on Iran would bring almost everyone on board w/impeachment.

12. He won't attack Iran. Instead...
Chimp will continue to slap Iran across the face (invading sovereign property, kidnapping diplomats, etc.) until Iran is provoked into retaliation. THEN he will claim they started it and he is fully justified to invade and occupy.

With luck, this will happen around next October, just in time for the elections.
