What Every American Should Know About John Boehner
Edited on Thu Feb-02-06 08:34 PM by DainBramaged
http://njdc.typepad.com/njdcs_blog/2006/02/new_gop_leader_.html

Rep. Boehner has for years advocated positions that run counter to the issue agenda of the vast majority of American EVERY RELIGION, or NONE and complete idiots who think that they are special because they don't get named in every article or title to an article yet think that everything applies to them even if it doesn't but think that since they disagree with the title or wording they get the right to complain. The original title is as typed at the link:

What Every American Jew Should Know About John Boehner

Complaints can be directed to:

NJDC
P.O. Box 75308
Washington, DC 20013-5308

Now continuing with the commentary.

This guy is dangerous. A bigot and right wing fanatic.

Example

2. For Forced Religion in Anti-Poverty Programs: Rep. Boehner voted to permit taxpayer-funded anti-poverty programs to require aid recipients to join in religious activities. (House Roll Call Votes 16 and 17, Feb. 4, 2004)

(edited for those who disagree with the original title even though the title was exactly as the article reads). I can see we'll agree on what's important by November. And then edited yet again because we can't even agree on simple wording

If you don't like how the wording was originally, complain to the folks at the link. I'm done in this thread. I don't give a shit if it gets deleted now. see expansive explanation above

1. It seems to me that this concerns more atheist Americans than anybody
else.

2. Exactly. I think to say just Jewish people should be concerned is
a little odd? We all should be.

5. I think you use the wrong words in your headline. Has nothing to do
Edited on Thu Feb-02-06 08:15 PM by applegrove
with Jewish religion or people. Has to do with separation of church and state. You could say "hindus should be concerned". Why so exclusive? I don't get?

4. I believe it concerns anyone interested in protecting the 1st Amendment
Edited on Thu Feb-02-06 08:02 PM by Vincardog
The question becomes WHICH RELIGIOUS SERVICE? FRISTIANS?

1st Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances

10. He's an extremist, very tough
He's a fundamentalist/fascist and hews to a rigid agenda and never varies, never compromises. He also thinks the means justify the end, which I think many of these crooks use to justify their theft and bribes. They really think they're "saving America", and they don't care who gets hurt on the way. People like Boehner think the poor and the sick got that way because they live sinful lives.

12. He fits in great with the Bush agenda
Just what America needs: more small-minded, bigoted idiots that want to force feed their agenda on the rest of us.

He's no better than the rest of them. He's the one who handed out tobacco lobby bribery checks right before a tobacco vote. What a nice, upstanding guy he is!
