1. An interesting Web page. However
Intervening in the U.S. Civil War would hardly have made England and France vanish from the planet. It might well have made the U.S. vanish. At the least, it would have considerably slowed the ascent of the U.S. in the realm of world powers. So I don't understand your subject line.

I also don't understand the relevance to Wee George. Iraq in 2003 and the USA/CSA in the 1860s are utterly different.

so did England and France.Also in reference to the relevance of the Civil war in 1861-1865 and Iraq 2003- , is my answer to the parallels of Viet Nam ,which have nothing to do with Iraq, if a I could have I would have used the American revolution I would have ,but that was a war about freedom and democracy.
