Have I worn out my welcome?
Peace is a word and a thought and an idea that I tend to possibly overuse, but peace works. Peace works for ALL LIVING CREATURES!

Peace. Again.

Peace.

7. Peace is an ideal often opposed by emotions
Rage is ever the opponent of peace. Often times justifiable rage. Rage can blind us to the true goal of peace.

11. thanks
you are right. rage and anger have no concept of peace, though sometimes apparently justified. Peace is the only goal to seek. Rage and anger are childish and thoughtless emotional reactions.

9. Why would Peace be bad????
Peace is classic. There is a rose named Peace that was christened in 1940 just before the Nazi's took France and was smuggled out. It was named Peace at the opening of the United nations a few years later.

10. People insensed by rage often wish to hear nothing of peace
Their rage often demands vengence. Fewer people than would be ideal are able to overcome their rage.

12. Wishing Peace to you and yours......
Peace ~ something we all seek, but few seem to really find/create.

I, for one, (although I know I'm not alone in thinking this) am really glad that you are on this forum, MoseyWalker ..... Keep on posting all those great thoughts. :-)

peace is obviously something that we have to initiate in our small worlds. Peace with our workmates. Peace with our family. Peace with our neighbors.

We just have to look at others as we look at ourselves. We are different, but we are, in so many ways, similar.

Peace is all that really matters when we look at why.

Why are we here? what have we done? Where do we go from here? What's it all about?

Peace.

That's what it's all about. From our closest friends to our farthest neighbors.

peace.

16. Absolutely.
And we can't enjoy the joys & benefits of peace unless we create it ourselves, with our friends & neighbors - near & far.

Families can be a bit 'trickier' though ;-)

Peace,

13. Anyone can wage war. Even an idiot such as george w. bush.
Peace takes brilliance, patience, intelligence, and a lot of intense, difficult work.

Peace was my holiday greeting via cards, the faerie light peace sign on the front porch, the grape vine fashioned peace signs over the mantle, and the big old peace flag flying from the rafters. Peace is the answer.

Edited to add something from one of my favorite philosophers:

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one.
- John Lennon

25. Peace is what we need to be talking about, not war . . .
peace should -- no, MUST -- move to the very high end of our priorities list . . . peace among humankind, and peace between humans and the earth -- and the other species with which we must share the planet's gifts . . .

There'll be swingin', swayin', and dancin' in the streets, too. :-)
