Bush directive to stateside military after Thanksgiving....
I just received an email from a friend who asked me to keep her nephew in my prayers as he was being deployed to Kuwait and on to Iraq. Her email also contained the following information:

"Shortly after Thanksgiving, President Bush issued an order to all stateside military service personnel. Effective immediately they were not going to be allowed to travel more than 50 miles from base. That way, if needed, they could be deployed on an emergency basis, they could be back to base, packed and ready to go within a matter of just a few hours."

What is Bush up to now? Iran perhaps?

3. That just what I was told...
I don't know what motivation she would have to lie about it.

4. That's not true.
A military person can only travel 50 miles away from his duty station if he has duty the next day. This changes based on liberty periods, a 48 or 72 or 96 for example.

On leave a military person can travel nearly anywhere. However, for some personel a leave risk assessment must be filled out (I'm not kidding) and approved by their OIC, before their leave is approved.

7. I've been worrying that he was planning to attack Iran ever since
all that talk of all those ships being sent to the Gulf.
This whole possible "surge" talk is pure propaganda. I just wonder if bush* is stupid enough to think he's fooling Iran. The whole ME (and a good part of the rest of the world) is going to go up in flames. God damn our president! He's going to help those Fundies who have his ear...get their Armageddon! It's coming...not by God's wishes...but by bushes. He makes his own reality. He thinks he's more powerful than God. The man is sick! He needs to be put away!
