2. Here points are well taken....a surge in Democratic populism is a huge threat to

the entrenched elite. But I think it will be different this time. We have the internets now and I suspect that, if it existed in '63, the Warren Commission would have not had the last word. Much more information would have been disseminated more quickly and the outcome may have been different. The point is, the threat of a RW wackjob is always going to be a concern...but I think it will be more difficult to use a lone gunman false flag. Assassination by accident, though, is still an effective tool, particularly when those that will use it control the government.

We are more connected to the events and can make changes. Things can move in an hour from the first glimpse to a full fact list. It always amazes me how the info is so quickly tracked down and assembled and figured out in no time. Like the secret senators who put a hold on legislation. The web broke that and who they were.

5. IMHO there was at least an assassination attempt on Bill Clinton

Nobody fired a gun, or used a knife etc. They just assasinated his character enough till he could do little as president or much else for that matter.
