Howard Fineman on AAR said that's what Rove is afraid of, dems getting a majority and getting subpoena power. Do you suppose in your wildest dreams that OUR leaders are baiting their time and waiting for the elections? Because if we do get a majority, we can bring these SOB's down so fast they'll bounce. Nah,...they have no plan.

That's why Kerry should have sued the Slime Boat Boys as soon as their book came out, sued them AND Regenery Press, just to get subpoena power and start putting together a chart of dirty money pipelines. Winning wasn't the issue. Tying up their resources while getting access to every scrap of their paper trail were the issues.

I'll be delighted when these jellyfish remember their law school lectures on what subpoena power can do for them even if they have no prayer of winning a case.

4. This fear is the exact reason why the rethugs who stole the previous

elections MUST steal future elections.

This is why Blackwell had to have the election reform initiatives in Ohio fail last November, even though polling showed they would succeed. Funny how the poll numbers flipped just like the '04 election. If they would have passed, they would have lead to Dem victories and a possibility of change in leadership and hence SUBPOENA POWER. Subpoena Power would not have only ended Mr. Blackwell's political career, but would have lead to an investigation which would topple their house of cards.

In Ohio, the Rethugs have passed HB 3, the further suppression of Dem voters will now occur. Don't think this will only happen in Ohio. It is spreading like wildfire. This is why the thugs are so cocky in thinking the leadership will not turn over in '06-the corruption elections system will be fully in place. What I don't understand is the Dem Party's reluctance to fully address this issue.
