5. He won't now, but he did say that. He didn't give that as a reason for attacking Iraq, of course.
He attacked Iraq because he could and his huge ego spurred him on. Plus his corporate backers wanted it. Many reasons for attacking Iraq for george and none them were warranted or just. He will have to live with that and hopefully, one day, he will pay for it.

to paraphrase British climber George Mallory in 1924 when he was asked why he wanted to climb Mount Everest.

The further explanation Bush will have to provide, however, is how he knew it was there, when he doesn't even know where Africa is or that it is a continent, not a country.
