Shrub is headed to the Grand Ole Opry?

Country stars Buddy Jewell, front, and Darryl Worley wait for Bush to speak at the Grand Ole Opry House.
President Bush takes his State of the Union message on the road today, traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, to tout his plans to cut U.S. dependence on imported oil. "America is addicted to oil, which is often imported from unstable parts of the world," Bush said.

1. A picture is worth a thousand words
On the same CNN website, where I saw the story about Bush and Nashville, is a story on Natalie Maines forgoing anymore CW music. Good for her. And it so telling to see those two fool CW male singers in the picture with chimpie. Dumber than fucking rocks, dumber than a bag of hammmers.

Oh and Chely Wright has a nice song out. It's called "Back of my SUV" and she talks about how on her bumper she has a marines sticker and someone flips her off but she explains how she has marines in her family and that's why she has the sticker, to support them, and she says she isn't a republican or democrat and she has question's and the right to ask them etc. It's a nice song. You can find it at http://www.letssingit.com

13. I am a Natalie Maines fan
I don't ordinarily have the time of day for country-western music, but when all the CW stars started piling on because of her comments about Bush, I went out and bought a Dixie Chicks cd. I admit it isn't much, but I expressed my support. If Natalie has had it with Nashville, what is left of the Dixie Chicks will have a tough time. Maybe Toby Keith will join them. He would make a good Dixie chick. Maybe he can be called a dixie chickenhawk.

..... flies 1,000 miles in Air Force one and burns up how many thousands of gallons of
jet gas that is made from oil that was imported then refined and then trucked to various
pumping stations.

Good chance that A.F. was refueled in flight too.

14. Says one thing: does the opposite.
He can say we are dependant on foreign oil all he wants, ha ain't gonna do shit about it. This is a stunt that he is pulling because he doesn't want his pResidency defined by the Iraq war.
