If Bush Leaves Office Early .... You Choose & Tell Us Why.
If Bush fails to serve out his full term and leaves office early, it will occur because:

A. Bush will be impeached and removed from office.

B. Bush will be impeached and resign.

C. Bush will voluntarily resign.

D. Bush will leave office because of physical incapacity.

E. Bush will leave office because of mental incapacity.

F. Other.

Ok, DUers now is the time to look inside your crystal balls and tell us how it will happen!

2. IF he leaves it will be for mental instability but it will be publicly announced
as a physical illness.

Not gonna' leave though 'cause it's Catch 22 all over again. If he's sane, he would not have gone into Iraq and wouldn't have to resign but if he's insane he won't know he shouldn't go into Iraq therefore he will stay.

3. If declared insane, there is a constitutional procedure for removing him....
... that was played out on the '24' program.

4. As I've said many times, I think they'll 'martyr' him.
It's just too consistent with their modus operande to ignore.

6. martyr' him? I would have agreed, but Poppy's heart couldn't take it so he'll resign after
being exposed for the fraud he is that's caused so many people to lose their lives for a phony war and that's just the beginning, but that is where it started

7. Who is going to let him go on TV and melt down? He is the puppet.
THey will yank him so fast that the news of a breaking terrorist threat won't be released until he is safely offstage.

9. Spontaneous, can't be predicted. Just happens.
Enough before commands for cameras to cut away. Laughing and crying simultaneously would be good.

8. I think D and E will be followed by C.
I think it will be soon too.

I can't see Cheney becoming President. He knows he's too dirty and will probably resign even before Bush like Spiro Agnew. But they will have moved some other Repuke in place before Pelosi can take over. I was hearing some speculation over the weekend that it could be Colin Powell.

11. He will be impeached and resign....
Cheney will also be impeached, possibly before Bush. Bottom line....both are criminals, and both will be exposed.

13. While I'm not willing to predict he will not
complete his term, keep in mind that he has a history of never really finishing anything he starts. Does anyone else recall that in the summer of 2001, only six or eight months into his first term, W was behaving like a spoiled brat who was threatening to take his ball and go home. He was petulant, clearly bored by the actual demands of the job, was widely criticized at home and abroad. There were all kinds of rumors out there that Cheney would resign, allowing some much more moderate Republican to become V-P, and then Bush would leave office.

Now, I don't have any clue how true those rumors were, but they were certainly out there. And then, 9-11 happened, and regardless of whether it was MIHOP or LIHOP or something truly unforeseen and unsanctioned by anyone around him, it allowed him to be perceived as "Presidential", allowed him to start making all kinds of command decisions he REALLY wanted to make, such as declaring war on terror and then on Afghanistan and then on Iraq. I truly believe that those around him had him convinced that the Iraq invasion would be a cakewalk and that it would be all over in six months or less and he'd be heralded as the Greatest American President Ever.

But there were a few stumbles along the way, and the recent election results, not to mention the Iraq Study Group Report is making it very hard for him to stay inside his bubble. And so, based on his history, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he does not complete this term.
