Hagel and Snowe (Both Rs) abstained as did Tom Harkin (D-Iowa).

It was Harkin, Ensign and Hagel according to CSPAN.

Ensign was injured in a car accident and was unable to come to Washington.

8. Hagel is one we targeted here at DU - unitary executive was his beef.
We were not wrong to do what we did. We MADE some progress that might not be noticed today.

More people HEARD that there was more to dissent than just the abortion issue, which was the media focus.
