6. Screw him.
Is it graceful or dignified for the republican party to be mired in scandals? I don't think so.

7. Shouldn't his time be up?
He was talking half an hour ago. They told Kerry his time was up, so no they need to tell McConnell the same thing. Or maybe they could say, "Shut your pie hole McConnell".

Grace

Any redeeming human quality

They are vapid, narrow-minded, soulless individuals

10. If McConnell had a meritorious case, he wouldn't resort to namecalling.
The Senate floor is no place for playground tactics, Mr. McConnell. Such a little man.

OTOH, do any of the Dem Senators have a cane that they can pummel him with? :7

13. Really? That's good news and gives me hope at lastl! They've had too
much 'grace and dignity' and look where it got them.

No doubt, Mitch is hugely impressed with the grace and dignity of Tom Delay, or Dick (go f$%k yourself) Cheney, or maybe 'Duke' Cunningham?

What a childish thing to say!

17. Neither do Republicans, but the difference here is
that, when you would expect grace and dignity from a Dem, you don't expect "grace and dignity" from a pig (the Repukes) . . .

18. Typical Republican Demagoguery
Demagogue:

A person who believes themselves to be a "leader"* merely by virtue of having
managed to achieve, by any available means**, election to office...

...who selfishly relies upon unethically abusing popular prejudices, making false claims or promises and other commonly dishonest rhetorical methods and/or propaganda in order to satisfy their enormous personal lust for and addiction to power.

*a common delusion (especially among Republicans).

**including all forms of mendacity, lies, deceit and misrepresentations, false character assasination, organized public image/deception campaigns, unfair advantage (wherever possible), campaign finance violations, electoral fraud (including outright manipulation of vote counts) and cheating of all sorts (every size and shape).

(the preceding amounts to a composite of common definitions)

Though... to be honest, Demagogue is almost synonymous with Republican except that Republican is a superset of Demagogue. Republican adds so many additional negative components, such as the common distrust of others, intolerance, hate, all or nothing/black and white thinking, belief that the ends justify the means, fear, tendency to demonize those who don't share the same beliefs, idealization of their things they approve of, nationalism (their form of patriotism), preference for conditions of disparity (rich vs poor) and the desire to control others (to ensure they look, act and even think just like Repbulicans) and much, much more.

Ironic, isn't it. Lust for money. Lust for power. These things are major Sins in the very Religion the vast majority of Republicans choose to call their own. Guess it's a case of the ends justifying the means again... the end being making America more of a Theocracy that's a Democracy in name only.
