any media say what was bleeped out yesterday at bush's
press conference? the closed caption transcript just has 2 hyphens.

"the vice president is saying --
al qaeda will have safe haven
from which to launch attacks."

when he's bleeped, his his body language is odd. head and body dip and kind of swoons down.

1. Here's the explanation

Down in the comments, the "missing" words are recovered. Short answer: It was a technical gaffe, not repeated on all feeds.

It weren't nothing special

...And this is the really outrageous part: All the networks have Bush on a time delayed feed. Think about this: Bush is apparently such a danger to Them that he’s not even allowed to speak live on TV. If you’ve got a clip, send it!

UPDATE: He didn’t say anything of obvious importance — unbleeped on several feeds — but it was probably the code word for the terrorists.

4. they put him on a delay...
so that they will not be fined for televising the flood of curse words that will one day flow from his mouth. He appeared to be on the fringe of a breakdown yesterday. I was waiting for him to throw a beer bottle at the press or give em all the finger.

5. Just for accuracy
The feed from the White House to the networks is not on delay. All the news stations that broadcast any of their programming live, which is all of them, broadcast in delay. That way if a guest (or host for that matter) throws out an f-bomb on accident they can beep it or cut it out quickly. Bush isn't on delay, the cable news networks are.
