So is Lieberman a loose cannon?
Will he choose which party to caucus with according to the day of the week?

4. I think you have to declare
There are Senate Chairmanships, etc that are involved.

Once you cease to caucus I think you forfeit your Committee assignments.

6. No, he'll chose it using his magical...
...I'd-like-to-fuck-my-career-in-national-politics ball.

As soon as he gets it back from George Allen.

7. My opinion...
because I have been thinking about it today as I am from CT: What you need to always remember about Lieberman is that he likes to be with the winning team, or who he perceives to be the winning team. It isn't about principles or the real desire to mediate or bring about bipartisanship. Its about doing what he feels will make him look in the best or strongest light. He thinks of himself as being very Churchillian-FDR-TR-Lincolnest, you know. So whatever he feels is the position that will make him look as he perceives himself, that is what he will do. Lieberman is not a statesman or a principled man. He is a narcissist who's only real goal is to create a legacy for himself as a great American statesman. Watch for him to go with the flow of what he feels is the most popular position at the moment.

utterly discredited no-nos.

10. He will go wherever HE feels HE has the most power
So he could be a "Dem" to get a major position - unless and until HIS vote or (potential) chairmanship gets the most headlines and ultimately kisses the butt of his buddy Bush --- all the while seemingly via MSM to be "bipartisan."

HE wants to be a power broker -- ultimately in service to Bush whose party funded his "victory."

HIS main concern appears to be a combo of Israeli issues and "Faith" and a skewed idea of what constitutes "morality".
