I was chased by a family of repubs today while out canvassing

I was out doing a literature drop for a local candidate for a state rep race.

I'm just walking along, sticking flyers in doors, and come to this little house. A bit run down looking, but cheerful, with several jack o lanterns, toys, and bottles of bubbles on the front step. I could hear kids playing inside

I stick the flyer in their door, and as I was leaving the yard, the mom opens the door, takes the flyer and SCREAMS (very loudly) "I HATE Democrats!" Then the kids (there were 3 of them, by my best guess between 9 and 4) all come to the window screaming about "We HATE DEMOCRATS! We're REPULICANS!" and THEN they all (kids and mom) come out on the lawn, yelling "WE HATE DEMOCRATS! WE'RE NOT GAY" and crazy shit like that as I'm walking away. I was amazed at how quickly 'the troops were rallied.' This happened in literally the span of 15 seconds. And they were SCREAMING, not just yelling.

I've never seen anything like it, the hate coming from those kids. Nutty.
